McGregor Shott was selected to design an outreach program for the LAEDC, a non-profit, public-benefit organization dedicated to economic development and job creation in LA County. Focusing on the City of Los Angeles WIB Business Assistance Program for fiscal year 2016, we created an informative campaign targeting at-risk businesses which could benefit from assistance in areas such as avoiding employee layoffs, cost reduction, procurement opportunities, and tax incentives. Overall, 41,261 at-risk businesses in 17 cities and unincorporated areas of L.A. County have been identified and informed of these no-cost assistance and services and 5,000+ people were able to keep their jobs.
